I've just released 'reminisce', songs that I call my 'landmarks', indelibly linked to memories that make them personal, effecting and evocative. More information on 'reminisce' is available here.

and "A River Runs Through It" for Tom Hanks, his son and the mayor of
Salt Lake City in the same room??? ;-) pretty cool!

Every now and then on YouTube.com someone will take my music (sometimes without permission) and create their own video. This person did a beautiful job using the song Kyrie from my Illuminaton project. Credit Where Credit Is Due
I was very pleased to see IMDB (the Internet Movie Database) have included my mother, Katherine Yorke, in their directory. The page features her photo and a few of the close to 100 films she appeared in as a contract player.
This acknowledgment is especially appreciated as her work went largely uncredited during her career. She cut Clark Gable's hair in a film called "Honky Tonk" and got into a barroom brawl along with Judy Garland and Angela Lansbury in "The Harvey Girls". I sure miss her...

Carols, Rhythms and Grooves Remastered
Carols Rhythms & Grooves was a labor of love for me when I recorded it back in the 1990s, but has only been available on cassette. Over the years I've received requests for a CD version and now it's here, edited and remastered to take advantage of the digital format to give a little more clarity and punch. For more information and to order the CD, click here.

Vision is now available for download on iTunes Plus - meaning (as I understand it) that it's the highest quality audio download you can get... at this point. In a few months, hopefully all my CDs currently available for purchase will be made available on iTunes Plus.

Hi Everyone:
After a long absence, I am excited to announce that a new project has finally escaped from my recording studio entitled "A Small Glitch In Time" written under my sometime pseudonym "Under The Radar". It can be previewed on the discs page of my site. Also finally, the documentary I composed the soundtrack for, "Visual Futurist: The Art And Life Of Syd Mead" is now available on DVD through Syd's website. Be sure to check it out. We are very proud of it.
Now that our relocation is almost complete, I promise you'll be
hearing many new and exciting projects coming in the not too distant
future from us. Check back here often.
Best regards,
Richard

We are very excited about the new website and would like to thank our wonderful webmasters Ian and Sue Peters for the great job they've done.
As we move into the new year we would like to make you aware of a new project in the works by Under The Radar. It takes Richard into the realm of IDM and Ambient music. We expect it out at the end of January 2007. Be sure to check back often as we are mixing it at this time!
Richard's latest work can be heard at www.nothingbutnets.net where his music was used in the information video to help raise money for the United Nations campaign "NOTHING BUT NETS". Be sure to watch the video and contribute to a very worthy cause.
Nothing But Nets is a grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. While the UN Foundation has been working with the UN to fight malaria for years, it was a column that Rick Reilly wrote about malaria in Sports Illustrated, challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 for the purchase of an anti-malaria bed nets -- and the incredible response from thousands of Americans across the country -- that led to the creation the Nothing But Nets campaign.
