This was a groundbreaking album for its combination of Hildegard von Bingen's beautiful sacred music alongside Richard's original compositions and and arrangements. Vision became Billboard magazine's "Classical/Crossover 1994 album of the year".

"I became aware of Hildegard's music while working on Sanctuary. I thought by creating arrangements around them, I could do my part bringing awareness of her music to a larger audience. With the help of some wonderful people involved with the project, we achieved that end."
